To resave a file in PICT format:

1. Open the file using the program
    that created it.

2. Choose Save As from the File 
    menu.

3. If the Save dialog box contains an 
    option for saving as a PICT file, 
    choose this option and click Save.

4. Open Picture Compressor and use 
    the Open command to open the 
    new file.
